A little about me.
I write about Oregon, work on a couple of businesses, and bring a background in communications, education, and outreach to what I do.
I’m Peter Straka, based in Eugene, Oregon. My work has taken me from teaching in Los Angeles to outreach, writing, business research, and building a couple of businesses of my own.
After college, I worked as a middle-school teacher in Los Angeles and later as the Oregon outreach director for the Freedom Foundation. Those experiences involved a lot of communication, research, organizing, and writing.
Today, I write about Oregon and build independent businesses including VantageRelay Group and Oregon Project Guide.
Outside of all that, I enjoy getting outdoors, spending time with family and dogs, and keeping up with baseball.
